Aiden has a mulit-colored pelt of tan, black and white. There are more tan and black up on his head and then it spaces out and starts to spot along his back. His front legs have tan spots on them as well. He has a bushy tail that has mostly black markings on the lower half towards his rump. He has amazing dark-amber colored eyes that seem to go on forever and ever, like small little pools of darkness. He has a pretty solid build and has high stamina and strength. He isn't the strongest dog in the world but it's enough for him.
Personality:
Aiden is quiet and usually keeps to himself. He likes to sit and watch the world go by rather than be in the fast track of life and do all the things everyone else does. He's a hopeless romantic and will not give up on love, he'd rather die than not be loved by someone. Although he seems like he'd rather push life away and not be around a single soul in the world, he'd give his life to the one he loved. And he is the most romantic dog around, or so he's told. Aiden is kind of messed up in the head a little, he's been through a lot and he thinks that other dogs hate him before they even speak to him, and he thinks that he's real ugly and no one will look his way. Also he's pretty emotinal, he will be sad at one moment and in the blink of an eye can turn angry or happy. It goes with any emotion. When provoked he will snap and snarl at those who are doing so to him. Not one to do well with tempers, he himself has a paper-thin temperment. And is quite violent when angry. A loner by choice, he likes to stay away from big crowds. He prefers to stay with a closer group of many three of four. But when he did belong to a pack he forced himself to be more soical and plaster on a fake smile...
History:
Aiden had the perfect life, the perfect family and perfect love. Now lets tear that all away...
Aiden was born on the night of the Spring Equinox and it rained and stormed all through his birth. His poor mother thought her shelter; a cardboard box in the back of an alley, would blow away. But it held fast and she and her three pups; all males made it through the storm. She decided to name her firstborn pup Aiden. The pups grew up well in the alley, they fed, slept and ate for most of their days until the day came where their eyes opened. They explored their tiny world with wonder and amazement. But that was short-lived.
A man came out to claim these dogs; the dog catcher. Many people had seen the pup's mother wandering in and out of the alley and they were worried she was rabid or carring some disease, and just that she was a threat to anyone passing by. She never let any people come near her alley and her darling babies. The man took them by surprise and as her mother went to attack the man he struck her hard across the face and she went down fast...that was the last the pups ever saw of their mother. They were taken away before she could even regain conciousness. Later that day they were taken to the Pound and checked by a vet. Aiden's two brothers were taken away fast; something was wrong with them. They had been diagnosed with Parvo and would not make it, the vet put them to sleep that very day. "To end their pain and suffering." The tiny pup heard them say. His only family was now gone...torn away from them forever.
Now not too long from the time he grew to be a half a year, a family came in with two older daughters; thirteen and fourteen. They were looking for a dog because their dog of fifteen years had passed away not two months ago. The older of the two girls; a misfit, one who didn't belong and stayed away from the "crowd" had taken a huge liking to him. She refused to leave the spot in front of his cage, her sister on the other hand, a total prep hated the dog. So in the end their parents brought home two dogs; Aiden and a tiny Maltese which was named Coco. Aiden was re-named Pestilence by the misfit girl. He liked her alot, she'd give him food from under the dinner table, they'd sleep together and do anything and everything together. He'd wait for her everyday she was in school and would walk her to and from the bus, but as he got older he grew too big for their house and they had to give him up.
An add was placed in the paper but when people came to see him, they thought he was too big. And too intimidating-looking, so he was taken back to the pound...or that was the plan. On the way out to the car, the misfit girl let Aiden off his leash and sent him off after much pleading and screaming. So on and on the young dog ran, and he ran hard and fast, getting away from the family and life he once loved. They too were torn from him...
Later on in his life as a street dog, he met a pretty young mutt named Amber. The two of them grew close and went everywhere together, they pledged to love each other forever and would never leave each other, but one day as they were enjoying a run and stealing from the Butcher Shop, they darted across the street. A kid driving a silver Mustang never saw them, Aiden managed to escape with a few scrapes and brusies, but his love was not so lucky. The car hit her head on, and left her lying in the road in severe pain and agony. She screamed for Ville and called for help, pleading for himt o help her. She wanted to get up, to walk again. But the life was fading from her fast, and by the time Aiden got to her side she had died. Her cries still rang in his ears...and he never even got to know that she was to bear his children...
His only love was taken away from him in the worst way possible, just as everything else in his life...
Sample Post:
The mix padded silently through the cemetary. His dark-amber eyes looked around the desolate and dark place. There was a thick fog blowing in and it gave the place and even more sad appearance, if that was possible. The mix already felt like he wanted to break down and just cry his little eyes out, and seeing this place covered in fog and the scent of death choking his nostrils was making it ten times worse. He sighed, holding back the tears and all those bad memories as well.
I wanna live again
I wanna start everything over again
I wanna get this right
I'll meet you in another life...
The tombstones lined up in row after row and he looked at the names of humans who lay there and rested forever in peace. He wished he were down there, in the grave and not existing anymore in the world. He wanted his time on Earth to end, he felt like he had no purpose in life...life was just one big joke. It was like someone was playing a sick, sick prank on him.
Over again
I'm coming back around again
Coming back over again
I'm coming back around again
But now it's over...
A lone figure caught his dark eyes, and when he scented the air he caught that the figure was a canine; one of his kind. His mind instantly went to panic mode, he figured that this dog would hate him. As he thought with every dog, everyone hated him. He was just easy to hate, and for some reason people were just drawn to hate the poor little dog with a broken life. The mix was hesitant to go on, his worry was kicking in, but he stepped forward and walked towards the canine. As he drew nearer, he caught the scent of the canine and concluded that it was a 'she'. He smiled, females were nicer to him than males. But this fae was alot bigger than he, he was a Border Collie mix and she looked to be a type of Mastiff, the mix was about as tall as her shoulder.
We're out of time and I can't breathe
I told you not to believe in me
'Cause all I do is push you far away from me
All I do is push you far away from me...
His silent paws carried him up to face the fae, and he sat down in front of her about two feet away. Her eyes were dark and sad, her posture and just the way she carried herself told the mix that she was in a lot of emotional pain. We've got sometning in common already. The brute thought sadly. When he looked up into her eyes he saw his own pain looking back at him, and it made the mix want to sob, sob like a little pup crying for it's mother.
Out of time and I can't breathe
I told you not to believe in me
'Cause all I do is push you far away from me
All I do is push you far away from me....
